Game Developer's Choice Awards

I'm a little late in posting this as this news is from the 9th of this month but they're late in picking the best games of 2008. Honestly, February? It took you guys that long to figure out the top games from last year? Better late than never I guess but we'll indulge and look.

As several major blogs have pointed out, there's a strange lack of Nintendo titles on this peer-based list. But it's nice to see Far Cry 2 get some due. Sure the game was a bit buggy but it was always fun and always engaging.

You already know I'm rooting for World of Goo and Sins of a Solar Empire. I think SoSE actually might win despite coming out close to a full year ago. The game got absolutely no press until December lists came out and now people act like they knew about it all the time.
